About
Currently: Reliability & Monitoring Engineer II at Nextpower, working on performance monitoring for utility-scale solar — and applying my Azure data science certification to fleet reliability analytics.
I'm Tommy Flinch, a software engineer and creative problem solver working across Tennessee and New York. My work bridges the gap between innovative technology and impactful design, with a focus on scalable, user-centric digital solutions — from back-end systems to seamless user interfaces.
I've led development of a fire alert system leveraging geolocation and Leaflet.js, and built dynamic APIs for robotic automation — including Boston Dynamics' robotic dog SDK. Every project is a chance to combine technical expertise with creative thinking.
Beyond coding, I mentor robotics teams and teach full-stack engineering with nonprofits. Technology has the power to change lives, and I'm dedicated to making it accessible — one project at a time.
